Dear PIE SIG Members,
I hope you’re off to a great start this semester!
With PanSIG 2026 in Nagoya just around the corner, we’re planning a relaxed PIE SIG dinner on Saturday night. And since we’re PIE SIG, we thought it would be only fitting to enjoy a little pizza pie together 🍕
Date & Time: Saturday, May 23, 6:00–7:30 PM
Location: Cannery Row – Yagoto (about a 10–15 minute walk from the conference venue)

Cannery Row is a popular Italian-style restaurant known for its all-you-can-eat antipasto and dessert buffet. You order a main dish (pasta or pizza), and it comes with access to a buffet of salads, deli-style antipasti, and plenty of desserts (cakes, mousse, puddings, and more). A drink bar may also be available depending on the set.
Estimated cost: 2,000–3,000 yen per person
As it’s a popular spot, we’ll need to make our reservation early.

There are also a variety of bars in the Yagoto area, so there will be plenty of opportunities to continue socializing after dinner for those who are interested.
