🎙️ Featured Speakers
Greg Lewis
Hyupsung University, South Korea
Greg has taught university English in Korea for over 13 years and brings a background in politics, business training, and theater (summer stock and community theater). Combining his performance background with modern technology, he incorporates audio performance and podcasting directly into his language learning curriculum.
This presentation focuses on student-generated audio podcasts and their positive outcomes for language learners. Attendees will explore practical steps for introducing podcasting concepts, production styles, and recording steps to students, concluding with a collaborative tips-and-tricks discussion.
Stephen Pottinger
Chubu University
Born in Aichi and raised in England, Stephen holds a BA in Education from the University of York and has nearly 20 years of ELT experience. Throughout his career, he has focused on performance methods that build student speaking confidence and presentation poise.
This session demonstrates how tried-and-tested theater techniques inject energy and confidence into the ESL classroom. Stephen covers core acting skills in Vocal Production, Basic Storytelling, and The Art of Acting, while addressing common practical challenges teachers face when introducing drama methods.
