Status Update: 4th PIE Conference

Transition to Free Reduced Online Event • July 30–31, 2022

⚠️ Conference Status & Schedule Adjustment

Due to rising COVID-19 cases in Nagoya affecting attendance, the full in-person 4th PIE Conference has been postponed to later in the year. In its place, a free, reduced online session will be held across the weekend.

✉️ Message from the Chair

Dear Colleague,

News this morning is that Nagoya is experiencing its highest number of COVID cases in the pandemic. The increasing numbers of cases also depressed conference attendance. We will be postponing the full conference until later this year.

Instead of the full conference planned, some speakers and attendees requested a reduced FREE ONLINE conference schedule: 2 hours on Saturday, July 30 (10am–12noon) and 2 hours on Sunday, July 31 (10am–12noon). If you would like to give a 25-minute presentation on a PIE topic or a Feedback topic, please apply online. If you would like to attend, please register using the forms provided below.
